Special Olympics Mali 

One of the main goals for the foundation is to partner with SO Mali to ensure they are equipped to provide athletes' with intellectual disabilities a platform for unified sport.

 

It is important to help these athletes through their educational needs as well as many in Mali do not have access to school. In partnering with these types of organizations we are able to have a greater reach while staying in line with the mission of Special Olympics.

year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.”
